Rebuilding Trust Through Facade Remediation: Rick Roberts Way, Stratford

When it comes to cladding remediation, it is not just about materials. It is about safety, accountability, and long-term assurance.

At Regency Facades, our work at Rick Roberts Way in Stratford is a powerful example of how facade specialists can help restore confidence for residents and building owners alike.

The Challenge: As part of the Government Building Safety Programme, this residential block required urgent remediation to bring it in line with evolving fire safety regulations. The existing facade included a combination of glass and aluminium spandrel panels, timber decking, aluminium cladding, ceramic tile finishes, and Trespa panels, all of which needed to be stripped and replaced.

Our Solution: We undertook a full strip-and-reclad package, carefully removing and replacing materials while the building remained occupied. Our scope included:

Removal of:

  • Existing spandrel panels
  • Timber decking
  • Aluminium, ceramic tile, and Trespa cladding systems

Installation of:

  • Shackerley Sureclad Ceramic Granite panels
  • Metalline Unity DF Aluminium rainscreen systems
  • Rockpanel Woods cladding
  • Alideck Aluminium Decking
  • New glass and aluminium spandrel panels
  • Comprehensive fire and cavity barrier systems to meet the latest building regulations

Every step was executed with clear communication to stakeholders, full compliance documentation, and meticulous attention to health and safety. This reflects our commitment to making every project a success for both our client and the team at Regency Facades.

Whether you are managing a live residential block or navigating complex compliance requirements, Regency Facades brings the expertise, supply chain, and delivery confidence required to get it right the first time.
