AFC Bournmouth – Judge’s Commentary post-UK Facade Awards 2025
We were recently shortlisted for an award at the UK Facade Awards 2025. Sadly, we didn’t win our category this year, but we are so proud of our AFC Bournmouth project that we reached out to one of the judges, Peter Johnson, Group Chairman of Vivalda Group (https://vivalda.co.uk/) for his valuable feedback, as an expert in the sector. Investing in Skills That Strengthen Our Industry
Continuous learning is central to how we work at Regency Facades. Several members of our design team recently completed the CWCT Contemporary Cladding and Facade Systems course and their reflections highlight why structured training remains so important. The course covers modern facade systems, key performance criteria, and the standards that shape compliant design. For our team, it provided both technical grounding and practical context, supporting confident decision making at every stage of facade development. Continue reading

Future-Proofing Your Building
The Critical Role of Facade Remediation in 2025 and Beyond In recent years, facade remediation has moved from a reactive necessity to a proactive strategy for asset owners, developers, and contractors. Post-Grenfell regulations, coupled with evolving safety standards, have transformed the landscape of building compliance in the UK. At Regency Facades, facade remediation isn’t just about replacing non-compliant materials—it’s about future-proofing your asset. Whether you’re managing a high-rise residential building, an office block, or a mixed-use development, cladding remediation addresses more than just fire safety. It improves thermal performance, extends the building’s lifespan, and significantly enhances curb appeal for residents and investors alike. Our approach to remediation combines detailed pre-construction support with 3D modelling to de-risk every stage of the project. Our clients, including Tier 1 contractors and housing developers, benefit from end-to-end management with a single point of contact, … Continue reading

The Strategic Value of 3D Modelling and Pre-Construction Planning in Façade Delivery
The Strategic Value of 3D Modelling and Pre-Construction Planning in Façade Delivery In façade construction, precision is paramount. Errors in the early stages of planning can lead to delays, increased costs, and significant site disruption. At Regency Facades, our commitment to quality begins before a single panel is installed—through the integration of advanced 3D modelling and robust pre-construction planning. Our process is not solely about leveraging technology; it is about applying intelligent design systems that enhance project visibility, mitigate risk, and ensure a seamless transition from concept to completion. The Role of 3D Modelling in Façade Planning Regency Facades’ in-house design team develops comprehensive, build-ready 3D models tailored to each project. These models serve as more than visual representations—they are technical tools that facilitate accurate planning and clear communication across all project stakeholders. Key capabilities include: This modelling approach enables … Continue reading
